Our Legacy

Founded in 1990, Pinykew Development Association drives social and economic initiatives in Ethiopia’s Pinykew kebele, fostering community growth through sustainable development.

እ.ኤ.አ. በ1990 የተመሰረተው የፒኒኬው ልማት ማህበር በኢትዮጵያ ፒኒኬው ቀበሌ ማህበራዊ እና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ውጥኖችን በማንቀሳቀስ ዘላቂ ልማትን በማስፈን የህብረተሰቡን እድገት ያሳድጋል።

Introduction

The Pinykew Development Association (PDA) is a community-based organization established in accordance with Article 31 of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Article 32 of the Constitution of the Gambella Peoples’ National Regional State. Founded in 1990, the PDA has been actively engaged in social and economic development initiatives within the Pinykew kebele. After a period of inactivity due to regional security concerns, the association was re-established in December 2011 through the collective efforts of its members. The PDA operates within the Pinykew kebele, which includes the sub-kebeles of Ibaro, Iran, Itay, and Iley-Ichoy, and is bordered by Pimoli, Pikong, Cholan, Jawe, Abwod, and Abobo woredas.

የፒኒኬው ልማት ማህበር በኢትዮጵያ ፌደራላዊ ዲሞክራሲያ ሪፐብሊክ ህገ-መንግስት አንቀፅ 31 በጋምቤላ ህዝቦች ብሔራዊ ክልላዊ ህገ-መንግስት አንቀጽ ቁጥር 32 ማንኛውም ሰው ለማንኛውም ዓላማ በማህበር የመደራጀት መብት እንዳለው በተደነገገው መሰረት የፒኒኬው ልማት ማህበር በአባላት የተቋቋመ ሲሆን ፒኝኬው ልማት ማህበር ከ1990 ዓ.ም እስከ እስካሁን ድረስ ተቋቋሞ የስራ እቅስቃሴ ሲያደርግ ቆይቷል፡፡ በመቀጠል በማህበራዊና በኢኮኖሚያዊ ዘርፎች የተመዘገበ ስራዎች መኖሩን የሚታወቅ ሲሆን ልማት ማህበሩ ከ1995 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ በክልሉ መንግስት በተፈጠረ የፀጥታ ችግር ምክንያት በክልሉ ያሉትን ልማት ማህበራት እንዲዘጉ መደረጉ ይታወቃል፡፡

ልማት ማህበሩቱ በአዲስ መልክ እንዲደራጅ በተላለፉ የክልሉ መንግስት ውሳኔ መሠረት የፒኒኬው ልማት ማህበር በታህሳስ 2011 ዓ.ም አባላት በመወያየትና በመሰብሰብ በአዲስ መልክ እንዲደራጅ ፈቃደኞች መሆናቸው ተረጋግጦ እንደገና በአዲስ መልክ ተቋቁሟል ፡፡

በፒኒኬው ቀበሌ የሚገኑት ንዑስ ቀበሌዎች ኢባሮ፣ኢራን፣ኢታይ እና ኢለይ – ኢቾይ ናቸው ፡፡ ፒኒኬው ቀበሌ የሚያዋስኑት ቀበሌዎች በምዕራብ ፒሞሊ፣በሰሜን ፒኮንግ ቀበሌ፣በሰሜን ቾላን ቀበሌ፣በምሥራቅ ጃዌ፣ በደቡብ አብዎድና አቦቦ ወረዳ ናቸው፡፡

The Pinykew Development Association envisions a society capable of effectively addressing its social development challenges through its own resources and efforts.

የማህበራዊ ልማት ችግሮች በራሱ አቅም በብቃት የሚፈታ ህብረተሰቡ ተፈጥሮ ለማየት የሰነቀውን ራዕይ ለመተግበር እየታተር ያለ ማህበር ፒልማ፣

Mission

The PDA is dedicated to achieving the growth and transformation plan of Pinykew kebele and liberating its people from poverty. Guided by the principle of self-reliance, the association leverages financial contributions from its members and support from both domestic and international donors to fund and implement its development initiatives

የፒኒኬው ቀበሌ ብሎም የቀበሌያችንን የዕድገትና ትራንስፎረሜሽን ዕቅድ ለማሳካት የቀበሌ ህዝብ ከድህነት እንዲላቀቅ በሚደረገው ርብርብ የራስን ችገር በራስ መፍታትን መሪሁ በማድረግ እየተቀሳቀሰ ያለው ፒልማ ኃላፊነቱን ለመወጣትና ተልዕኮውን ለማሳካት ለልማት ዕቅዶቹ ማስፈጸሚያ የሚውል ሀብት ከአባላት ከሀገር ውስጥና ከውጭ ሀገር ለጋሾች የሚያገኘውን ገቢ ይጠቀማል፡፡
